Yoga Therapy-day | Knee joint stable, mobile and pain-free
Dr. Günter Niessen
Yoga Therapy: simple, accompanying and effective. It opens up to us what we can do for ourselves. Once we have understood this, we can easily implement the skills acquired in the classroom and benefit our students.
The base, i.e. our feet, form the foundation for the muscle-guided, essentially bony unstable knee joint, which implements power transmission in the leg axis with the help of numerous soft tissues and ensures our suppleness.
On the Yoga Therapy day we will discuss the theoretical and practical basics for an optimal care and stress of all tissues involved. In addition, we will discuss and practice the most common problems that we as yoga teachers encounter in class or in ourselves. And of course, in addition to prophylaxis, we also discuss the "red flags" and pearls of asana practice.
After more than 35 years of bodywork, countless surgeries and thousands of conservative treatments for people of all ages, I have come to realize some important connections. I would like to share them with you.
