This is one of my favorite topics. As always, we will start with the functional anatomy related to yoga and blow away some of the myths and misconceptions surrounding this area. How can we prevent damage to this precious region? We will explore important movement skills and common movement patterns. We will then proceed to explore the most common pathologies and create an accessible practice on how to deal with them. The low back is probably the best area to get to know the beauty and simplicity of our functional approach. Please expect easy solutions for teaching group and one-on-one classes.
